Appearance[]
C.C. is a slender, fair skinned woman with long, almost waist-length light green hair and golden eyes. She is of average height, being slightly shorter than Kallen. She has a scar under her left breast that resembles a Geass sigil.
Unlike her canon version, C.C. is often seen wearing red lipstick.
Personality[]
C.C. is a straightforward and to the point person.
She wishes to end her eternal life. There reason she was so protective of Lelouch and Nunnally was because they possesses the power to one day kill her. Despite her dedication to this goal, she is aware that it was unfair of her to pull Lelouch into her personal desires, apologizing to him in the final battle.
Background[]
C.C. was originally a member of a church. During the Hundred Years' War, her church was attacked by Joan of Arc, who considered C.C. to be a witch and killed all the other occupants including children. While C.C. survived, the encounter left her with a scar resembling the geass symbol underneath her left breast. She later approached Lord John & Henry VI. Referring to herself as a messenger to a goddess, she gave them information about Joan and offered her services to fight against her. Eventually, she successfully defeated and captured Joan, and as Joan was burned at the stake, she placed the Curse of Eden on C.C. Following Joan's execution, C.C. was herself branded a witch and burned at the stake by Lord John. When questioning him about her accomplishments and why King Henry had to say about this, John informs her that Henry died in London and the new king was Edward IV. As she laments her king's passing, C.C. is burned to death.
Nevertheless, C.C. rises from the ashes, realizing that Joan's curse granted her eternal life. Contemplating how her country betrayed her, her loved ones were murdered, and her Eden Vital was written off as just a strange ability, C.C. declares that she will become the Demon King. C.C. would go on to appear around Europe, bringing chaos to the world. According to Waldstein, she kidnapped the previous emperor.
C.C. eventually meets Marianne vi Britannia, making the woman one of her priestess. Some point after the birth of Lelouch and Nunnally, C.C. and Marianne have a conversation where Marianne notes that while C.C. isn't human, she is not a demon king either, simply living outside the providence of humans and expresses her love for her children.
Marianne was later fatally wounded in an assassination attempt by Anya Alstreim, a brainwashed pawn of the Eden Vital Order. Anya was going to kill Nunnally as well, but was stopped by the arrival of C.C. and incapacitated. On the bring of death, Marianne asked C.C. to bestow a geass on her. C.C. does so and Marianne is able to send her soul into Anya’s body. Marianne, as Anya, happily announces that they can use this power to achieve their dream.
She Charles, and Marianne would then go on to conclude that conflict only exists in the world because god allows it to, and to truly remove conflict from the world would require killing god. To this end, they begin their plans to establish the Ragnarök Connection, including summoning the Sword of Akasha and using Nunnally and Lelouch to open Heaven's Door. When Lelouch and Nunnally are banished to Japan, C.C. follows after them in order to ensure their safety.
Two months before the invasion of Japan, Nunnally seems to disappear. Lelouch searches for her an encounters C.C. who told him where she and Suzaku were. This allows Lelouch to get to the two before they drown in the bomb shelter. When Genbu Kururugi was about to kill Lelouch and Nunnally once Britannia's invasion became inevitable, C.C. stepped an in killed him, claiming that she wouldn't allow him to hurt Marianne's daughter. She was caught red handed by Suzaku Kururugi and Kyoshiro Tohdoh and did not resist being arrested.
After her capture, Britannian scientists began experimenting on her in the hopes of discovering eternal youth. Following Briannita’s invasion of Japan, that research became restricted. These experiments led to the creation of the Irregulars, soldiers injected with her cells to give then an artificial connection to Eden Vital and granting them Geasses, though at the expense of cellular degeneration. They also stitched her cells together to create a copy of her in the form of Magical Device Nemo. She was eventually liberated by terrorists who assumed she was poison gas.
Character History[]
C.C. first appeared in a capsule with Nemo on her side and was picked up by Lelouch. When Lelouch was about to be killed, C.C. grants him a geass ability that turns his body into armor. C.C. now sees Lelouch's plan to destroy Britannia with the newly formed Black Knights and acts as his double.
When Nemo and Nunnally are about to be defeated by Alice in Saitama, C.C., as Zero appears and warps them to another location. C.C. explains that she asked Nemo to protect Nunnally before questioning why they came to the battlefield. C.C. then sheds her amour, allowing Nemo to recognize her. Nemo states that while they may be a copy of her, taking the darkness inside Nunnally's heat has allowed her to become a higher being, but C.C. points out that by allowing herself to be controlled by Nunnally's anger, she is being used by it. This angers Nemo who blames Zero for manipulating C.C.. C.C. then leaves, telling Nemo not to come to the battlefield again and to protect Nunnally, leaving Nemo to angrily deny being a nameless doll.
When Mao attempts to steal Nemo from Nunnally, a partially manifested Nemo is taken over by Lelouch and C.C.. C.C. grabs Mao's arms and forcibly injects more of her own cells into her, speeding up Mao's cell degeneration and forcing her to flee. Nemo then reverts back to her normal form and refuses with Nunnally.
As the final battle on Kamine Island begins, C.C. telepathically communicates to Lelouch, apologizing to him, but he assures her that he made his own decisions. Later, in the though elevator, Alice starts to speak to C.C. through Nemo, asking her to take her to Nunnally. C.C., through Nemo, states that she would be betraying Marianne and Charles and questions if Alice can go through with it. Alice on the other hand reaffirms herself as Nunnally’s knight and swears to protect her until the end. This convinces C.C> to let Alice speak to Nunnally, and when Nunnaly decides to not open Heaven's door and kill god, C.C. appears as herself and respects Nunnally's answer, angering Charles.
At the end of the story, Lelouch uses The Zero to kill her, becoming the new demon king and bring chaos upon the world.
