I would like to start that I was not going to post. I usually don't. There is enough negative things in life. With that being said, getting your nails done is one of those things that helps. I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the day before. My nail tech arrived at 9:15. And I told them I had to get to work and is why I couldn't come at 9:30. When I asked for a French full set dip, they said it was no problem. Showed a photo and everything (I also know they usually never look like the photo, which I expect. I used the photo because I wasn't sure how to say what I wanted). I asked multiple times for the tech to fix the shape. And with out going on a rampage, he was just lazy. Never took the care to shape my nails naturally. Not to mention the fade for a French looked awful. And I even said that I was not happy. (Pictured)Not once was an alternative suggested. I'll admit I could have asked.Paid for my nails and tipped. On my way home realized how unhappy I was. But I couldn't go back the same day because I had work and a date that night. This was Thursday morning.I did go to another salon to have a new French done. Pictured. Looks amazing. I did not ask for them to do a new set because I didn't want to destroy my nails. Here we are Saturday morning, day of a wedding for me to attend and a middle finger pops off. No time to go get a fix. Now have to get nail glue and hope it gets me through the night.

Horrible customer service by the women there - I got yelled at for telling her the glue was running onto my skin - went back the next day still giving the manager a chance - yes he fixed the deficiencies. even he was disgusted at my nails but only 4 days after-all my nails lifted SMH - sorry not sorry it was all just a waste of time and money! NEVER AGAIN! READ REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE !

I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi for Christmas.I told the technician that I wanted the standard manicure. She "Insisted" that I have the upgrade if I wanted my polish to last the 8 days until Christmas. I finally gave in. After spending $53.00 when I had intended on $37.00 I left the salon. Not to mention the tip.Within 1 hour the polish on my pointer finger was gone. I drove back to the salon and showed her what happened. She asked "what did you do"? I replied-I drove to Walmart!! She said oh, I must have forgot to apply the top coat. She then repaired the nail and sent me on my way. The very next day the polish on my thumb nail cracked and half of it fell off. So now 6 days before Christmas I have a thumbnail with no polish. I live in Clinton Iowa and was home only for the weekend to visit. I am not going to drive an hour to go back in. I have e-mailed the salon to let them know of the situation. I have not received any response. I am extremely upset and very disappointed. What was supposed to be a "treat" ended up being a rip-off and a very stressful time.I contacted the manager who said he would get back to me-which he didn't. I had to call him again. His solution.....he wanted to send me a gift certificate for $26.00!!! So, I am supposed to drive an hour to go back to the salon that I never want to step foot in again, pay an additional $12.00 to these people to make up the difference between the gift card and the price of the manicure. Unbelievable!!!Now I have to go to another salon and have the manicure redone prior to my Christmas party.Very poor way of doing business!!!

I've gone to this place several times and only out of convenience, but this was the last. The pedicure I received lasted 20 minutes tops, I got a pathetic leg massage and am pretty sure all the gal did was paint my nails because my cuticles are ragged. My friend got the gel which she always does elsewhere and it lasts several weeks..this place, less than a week. The place was not busy and she had to wait while the guy watched TV. To say the least, it's not worth the time or money, I'll take the few extra minutes to go somewhere else from now on, like Anson's because they rule!

Sub-par nail salon. Unless you speak whatever Asian language the owner/workers speak - you'll receive poor customer service. Expect to sit in silence throughout your entire service. The guy who did my pedicure cut my toes nails without asking, now they're uneven and stubby. That evening, the paint chipped off my right big toe. The paint layer is so thin you can see through to the nail bed. I also presented a chevron design for my manicure and lets just say it qualifies as a "Pinterest FAIL." No one knows how to do designs there. I never write reviews, but after wasting $55 at Lovely Nails II, I wanted to try to save anyone else from throwing their money and time away at this place.
